This page is dedicated to all those who attended the Suntrap boarding school or as some students in the ealier years knew it, Suntrap "Open-Air" School. The school on Hayling Island, Hampshire, is not as many would remember it. The main building is still located facing the Sea Front on the south coast of the island, but has now been converted to terraced housing with residents. The buildings and area that were situated beyond the main house, such as dormitories, school classrooms, dining hall and playgrounds, etc, have now been replaced with new streets and houses.
One of the goals for this web site will be to find people affiliated with Suntrap and begin to regroup our school family that is now spread out around the globe. If at one time you attended Suntrap, we ask that you sign our guest book, leaving your message and contact information or e-mail (pelaram@aol.com) and tell us of your days spent there. We may have news of staff or friends to share with you. . .
